MCLAUGHLIN, ANNA MARIE
It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Marie McLaughlin announces her passing on Thursday, November 12th, 2015 at the Oromocto Public Hospital in Oromocto, NB.

Born in Fredericton Junction, NB, Anna was the daughter of Kathleen Smith and the late Everett Smith.

Anna was a faithful member of the French Lake Baptist Church and of the Women’s Missionary Society. She volunteered at the Geary Elementary School and was also a Sunday school teacher. She loved to cook, sew, knit, crochet and paint, but most of all Anna loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her mother, Kathleen; her loving husband, David McLaughlin; her son, David McLaughlin of Fredericton, NB; her daughters, Lesley Lyons (Darrell) of Geary, NB, and Tracey Howe (Troy) of French Lake, NB; her twin brother, Jerry Smith (Marilyn) of Geary, NB; her other siblings, Norma Smith of Waterville, NB, Elwood Smith (Brenda) of Geary, NB, Edgar Smith (Debbie), Anthony Smith (Lisa) and Absalom Smith, all of Waterville, NB; grandchildren, Abby and Walter Lyons, Caroline and William Howe and step grandchildren, Joseph Doucette and Kara Doucette; brother-in-law, Howard McLaughlin (Marina) of Rusagonis, NB; sisters-in-law, Barbara McLaughlin of Geary, NB, Violet McLaughlin of Rusagonis, NB, and Jackie McLaughlin of Fredericton Junction, NB; an aunt, Renie Harper of Sussex, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Anna was predeceased by a brother Douglas and a cousin, Margaret Howe.

Resting at the Oromocto Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday, November 15th, 2015, from 2 to 4 PM. A funeral service will take place on Monday, November 16th, 2015, at 11:00 AM at the French Lake Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Wood Cemetery.
