It with heavy hearts that the families of Sadie Victoria Smith nee Tucker announce her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Friday, November 13th, 2015, at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn her husband James of 67 years marriage, her sons Jerry (Caroline), Dennis, her daughter Judy (Keith Pike), her four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, her siblings Melva, Dallis (Irving Shears), John, Gary (Geraldine), Maisie, and Derick, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. Sadie was predeceased by her son Tony, grandson Brandon, and her parents Mary and John Tucker. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Monday, November 16th, 2015 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 17th, 2015 at 2 pm at Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake, NL with Major Wayne Pike officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Church Cemetery on High Street, Deer Lake, NL.
