GOLDEN, ELLEN MARGARET (MOTT)
With great sadness, the family wishes to announce the sudden passing of Ellen Golden (Mott). Surrounded by her family she passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on November 15, 2015. Ellen was born on January 15, 1949 in Fredericton Junction, NB. She was the daughter of the late Margaret (Jones) and Worden Mott.
She was a homemaker all her life and treasured her family. She enjoyed doing puzzles, knitting and crocheting. She spent a lot of time at the camp hunting, fishing and spending time with her family. She was an active member of the Tracy United Baptist Church; she sang in the church choir and participated in Pioneer Clubs.
Ellen is survived by her best friend and husband of 48 years Albert Golden, two sons; Lewis (Donna) Golden and Sheldon (Leesa) Golden, five sisters; Rose (Freeman) Gillett, Janet Griffiths, Carol (Ernie) Reid, Jane (Danny) Yerxa, and Dawn Marie (Blaine) Mowry, six brothers; Claire (Nadine) Mott, Bob (Pauline) Mott, Winston (Susan) Mott, Dean (Anne) Mott, Raymond (Vicky) Mott and Kevin (Lenora) Mott, five grandchildren; David, Dereck, Leanne, Alex, Christopher Golden, and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Ellen is predeceased by her brother David Mott.
Family and friends are invited to the Tracy United Baptist Church in Tracy, NB for visitations on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will also be at the Tracy United Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 2pm with Rev. James Harrison officiating. Following the service, interment will take place at the Tracy United Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tracy United Baptist Church Building Fund.
