HANLEY, PHYLLIS MARGUERITE
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Phyllis Marguerite Hanley, loving wife to the late William G. Hanley, announces her passing which occurred on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on March 4, 1927 to the late Gordon and Laura (Bishop) Day.
Phyllis is survived by her children: Marie (Charles) Shaw, Judy (Carl) Dibblee, Bill (Karen Sharp) Hanley, Cathy (Randy) Boomer, her grandchildren: Chuckie (Leanne) Shaw, Joelene (Adam) Burgess, Jennifer (Mike Tims) Hanley, Tim (Jennifer) Godsoe and Billy (Nichole Richard) Hanley Jr, her great-grandchildren: Nichole Shaw, Ali Shaw, Jeremy Shaw, Will Shaw, Alexa Godsoe, Landen Burgess and Cohen Burgess, her sisters: Elizabeth Day and Lorna Valentinsen along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, William, she was predeceased by her grandson Jeremy Shaw, eight sisters and seven brothers.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 18 at 2 pm from Brenan’s Chapel with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
