Died on November 16, 2015 Geoffrey Lorne Hiscock. Leaving behind with profound love and sadness, his wife Carla (nee May); his sons Stephen (Karen Clark) and David (Michelle Cornect); and his daughters Catherine (Rick Rakosy), Martha (Greg Robertson) and Rebecca (Byron Small) and all of their children; his sister Faith Henderson, his sisters-in-law Sonia May, and E. Elizabeth (Dolly) Davis (Bill) and their families. Geoff had a successful teaching career and then took over the family jewellery business when his father died in 1973. He loved both of his careers and made many lasting friendships. He was an active volunteer which included the Presidencies of the Atlantic Provinces Jewellers' Association (1984-85), and the Canadian Jewellers' Association (1999-2000). He was a graduate of Bishop Feild College in St. John's, King's College School in Nova Scotia and Pacific University in Oregon. He will be warmly remembered for his wonderful outgoing personality, great sense of humour, and his amazing ability to form deep and lasting friendships with people from all walks of life. Please join our family for a service of remembrance and thanks for the life of a wonderful man at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (The Kirk) on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Church Hall immediately after the service. We are so thankful and appreciative of the kindness and compassionate care given to Geoff and our family by the staff of the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home.
