SURETTE, Eliza Marie – Age 65, of Yarmouth, passed away on November 17, 2015 at the QEII Health Sciences, Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Comeau’s Hill on August 24, 1950, Eliza was a daughter of the late Clifford and Antoinette (Deveau) Fitzgerald. She is survived by her former husband, Robert Surette; daughter, Rose Marie Surette, Yarmouth; siblings, Rosie (Donald) Deveau and Leonard (Susan) Fitzgerald, both of Yarmouth; Jenny Robichaud, Burlington, Ont., Margaret (Gary) Hubbard, Tusket; Theresa Fitzgerald, Kenny Fitzgerald and Irene Saulnier, all of Yarmouth; grandchildren, Robert and Jordan Surette. She was predeceased by her brothers, Harvey and Howard. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. There was no visitation by the request of the family. A funeral mass was held on Friday November 20th at 2 p.m. in Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolennars officiated. A burial was held in Saint Gabriel’s Catholic Cemetery, Comeau’s Hill following the funeral. Flowers were welcomed. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
