ARMSTRONG, MARJORIE (BEAMAN)
Peacefully, with her family at her side, on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Fairhaven Home, Marjorie of Peterborough in her 95th year.
Beloved wife of the late Noble Armstrong for 52 years. Loving mother of Philip (Carol), Larry (Josselyn), Elaine Armstrong McLean (Ian), Dorothy Armstrong, Timothy (Sharon), and Andy (Joy). Dear grandmother of Kevin, Sheldon, Seth, Nathan, David, Andrea, Kendra, Taylor, Joshua, James, Stefanie, Jessica, Aaron, Jennifer, Sonya, and Brandon and their families. Great grandmother of twelve. Sister of Frank (late Mary) of Moncton, NB, and the late Bertha, Alvin, Evelyn, Una, Joyce (surviving Bud Williams), Morris and Donald.
Longtime member of Northview Church. Born in Stewiacke, NS. Marjorie grew up in Moncton, NB. Met and married in Toronto. Raised her children in Renfrew, Eganville and Peterborough.
Visiting will be held at the Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2 to 3 pm. Funeral service in the chapel at 3 pm. Reception to follow. Committal at Zion Cemetery, Millbrook on Monday at 11 am.
