Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Thursday, November 19, 2015, Mary Josephine McGuire aged 83 years. Predeceased by her husband George, September 21, 2013, her parents John and Helen Norman; parent-in-laws Nicholas and Marion McGuire; siblings Gerard Norman, Joseph Norman, Rose Stroud; in-laws Jim and Lorraine McGuire, Gerry and Laura (McGuire) Kennedy, Brian Casey. Leaving to mourn her cherished sons George (Deb), Pat (Leona), Gerard (June) and Gary (Wanda). Grandchildren: Greg, Melanie, Shawn, Brendon, Jillian, Erin, Leslie Galway; Step Grandchildren: Tyler, Tracey and Terry; Nanny Mary's Great Grandchildren: Tyler Hanhams, Ben McGuire, Sharla McGuire, Brady McGuire and Parker Galway. Also leaving to mourn her siblings: Brothers: Fred (Suzy), Kevin (Marg), Pat (Janet), Bernard (Judy) Norman; Sisters: Theresa Casey, Betty (Ron) Worting (Nebraska). In-laws: Betty Norman, Bernard (Maureen) McGuire, Bill Stroud (Texas). Also her many nieces and nephews .Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday and Monday from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Thank you to all those who visited Mom during her time at the St. John's Long Term Care Facility, especially her brother Bernard. Also, thank you to the staff of the 2 Southwest wing at the St. John's Long Term Care Facility who took care of mom, we really appreciated the care given to her.
