ROBINSON, JEANNITA
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jeannita Robinson (nee Boudreau) on November 22nd, 2015, at York Care Centre. She was born in St. Anne de Kent, NB, on May 5th, 1940 to the late Alyre Boudreau and Aldea LeBlanc.
She is survived by her children, Richard Robinson, Steven (Tammy) Robinson and Roxanne (Chris) MacDonald; granddaughters, Chantele, Hannah, Allison and Brianna; brothers, Herve (Barb), Guy, Leonard (Maria), Omer (Kris), Aldei (Debbie) and Coral (Nancy) and nieces and nephews.
Jeannita was predeceased by her parents and step-father, Edmond LeBlanc.
Jeannita was always willing to lend a helping hand, volunteering with the Ostomy Society, being a leader with the Cubs and Girl Guides and helping with the St. Dunstan’s Catholic Church fall suppers. Jeannita loved knitting, she was a quilter, joining the Elm City Quilters Guild. Jeannita was always making friends, they shared laughs, for years meeting every Tuesday to sew and going out for lunch on Thursday. Jeannita cherished her lifelong friendships. Above all, Jeannita was a dedicated mother, making sure here family was happy, and that her boys hockey skates were tied up tight. She loved being a 'nanny' and her brothers 'favorite sister'.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Friday, November 27th, 2015, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and a reception to follow from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. A Memorial Mass will follow at St. Dunstan’s Catholic Church at 5:00 pm, with Fr. Bill Brennan as celebrant.
