WANDA TAYLOR

WANDA TAYLOR

We, the family of the late Wanda Maureen (Sampson) Taylor wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made Wanda’s last months as easy to endure as possible. To the wonderful staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, especially Laurie and Linda. To the VON “Florence Nightingale’s angels on earth” who made it possible for Wanda to remain at home for her final days. To Dr. Anne Frances D’Intino for your caring, compassionate treatment of Wanda, you were such a calming influence. To Rev. Kevin Mattatall for your visits and for being there for us. For that special community of family, friends, neighbors and co-workers who comforted us with visits, brought food to our home, sent flowers, memorial donations, sympathy cards, mass cards, e-mails and travelled great distances to be with us, we are truly grateful. Your thoughtfulness will always be remembered.
We, at this time, would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, especially to Wendy Lynk, for your compassion and guidance during our loss. To our cousin Fr. Russell Sampson, who travelled from Scarborough, Ont. to help us Celebrate Wanda’s Life, in an unforgettable memorial service with heart warming music by Aaron Lewis. To our cousin, Helen Cushing; niece, Yvette Burke and longtime friends, Laurie Cranton and Laurie Baltzer for sharing your bitter-sweet memories of Wanda.
We thank you all.

Wanda’s family…
