SCOTT-KILEEL, VICTORIA
Today we mourn the loss of Victoria Lee Scott-Kileel (Gypsy Rose), of Fredericton, NB. She was a beautiful mother, daughter, wife, sister and grandmother. She fought a courageous battle with cancer for over five years. She passed peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital surrounded by her loving family on November 27th, 2015. Born in Fredericton, NB she was the wife of Michael Kileel and daughter of Valerie Hunter-Jewett (Minard) and Delbert Scott (Sandra).
Victoria was passionate about health and wellness. Over the years she worked as an aesthetician and instructor with Atlantic Hairstyling and Aesthetic Academy. She also graduated from Eastern College with her Health Wellness and Recreation Management diploma throughout her cancer journey. She was active with the Canadian Cancer Society and participated as a spokesperson for many local events. She was viewed by many as an inspiration for her immense strength, and dreamed of starting a program called "Spa for Hope" for other cancer survivors. Her beautiful smile and loving personality will never be forgotten by her family and many loving and supportive friends.
Victoria is survived by her three children: Jami-Lee Younker (Koady), Adam Kileel of Fredericton, and Maggi Jane Kileel; one grandchild, Jace Younker; brother Corey Scott, and grandmother, Mardell Scott.
Predeceased by one brother, Randy Scott.
Visitation will be held at McAdam's funeral Home 160 York Street Thursday, December 3rd, 2015 from 7 to 9pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Friday, December 4th, at 12:05 am. Rev. Bill Brennan as celebrant.
