FLETCHER, BARBARA
Mrs. Barbara A. Fletcher of White Head Island, NB passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital on November 10, 2015, with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Delma and Mary Naomi (Brooks) Banks. Barbara was a school teacher for 16 ½ years at the White Head Elementary school.
Barbara is survived by her three daughters; Elizabeth Fletcher of White Head; Carol Ann (Anthony) Outhouse of Grand Harbour; and Colleen (Murray) Perrin of Saskatchewan; one son Theodore (Sandra) Fletcher of White Head; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four sisters Joyce McCullough of Little River, NS; Deborah Banks of St. Stephen, NB; F. Viola (William) Miller of White Head and Marie J. (Bev) Frost of North Head; one brothers Christopher Banks; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Wilfred (Woody) Fletcher on November 8, 2012; and two brothers Malcom and Lewellyn Banks. Visiting will take place at the White Head Baptist Church on Saturday, December 5, from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the church on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Rev. John Boyd officiating. The interment will follow at the White Head Community Cemetery.
