LEGER, GERALD
It is with great sadness that the family of Gérald Léger announce his passing on December 1st, 2015. Born in Pointe-du-Chêne on February 23rd, 1937, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mazie (Gallant) Léger.
Gérald was a retired carpenter and past employee of School District #2.
He will be sadly missed by his spouse of 56 years, Dorothy (Petitpas); his four children: Larry (Maria) of Shediac, Carol Zwicker (Doug) of Kingston ON, Maria Léger (Pascal) of Pointe-du-Chêne, Raymond of McDougall Settlement; two sisters: Jean Boudreau (Frank) of Pointe-du-Chêne, Barbara LeBlanc of Shediac; two brothers: Richard (Mathilda) of Shediac, Donald (Heather) of Toronto ON; two sisters-in-law: Micheline, Catherine both of Shediac; four grandchildren: Natalie Allain, Patrick Zwicker, Ashley Moores; Nathan Landry; five great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews
Beside his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters: Pauline, Betty and three brothers: Edgar, Raymond and Francis.
By request, there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-du-Chêne on Friday, December 4th at 10:00am.
In memory of Gérald, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
