It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dot at the Kingston General Hospital. Dot will now be reunited with her beloved husband Bob (2012) and with her loving children Kathy and Gary. Loving mother of Bob Jr. (Tasha), Karen and Stephen and will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Matthew, Jamie, Samantha and Courtney and great-grandchildren Wyatt, Quinn, and Sawyer. Dot is survived by her dear sister Jean Rice (Andrew). She will be remembered by her extended family across Canada and will be sadly missed by her dear friends Sandy Nichol and Judy Gilchrist. In keeping with Dot's wishes cremation will be followed by a Memorial Service at Christ Church Cataraqui (974 Sydenham Road) on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11 am. Interment to follow at the Cataraqui Cemetery. Dot's family will receive friends at the reception following the burial in the reception centre of the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd.) at approximately 12 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Dot's memory.
