Ethel passed peacefully in her sleep at the St. John's Long Term Care Facility on Sunday evening, December 6th, 2015 at the age of 96 yrs. She was born and raised in Frenchman's Cove, Fortune Bay, but resided in Topsail, CBS all her adult life. Predeceased by her husband Doug (2005) and her siblings Laura and Les. She will be lovingly remembered by her family who shared a long life of happy memories, funny stories and special occasions with her. She leaves behind son Doug (Carol), grandchildren Sherry and Brad, son Gilbert (Paula), grandchildren Terry and Tanya, great-grandson Christopher, brother Willis, special niece Ena, numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, both near and far. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 10 am from St. John the Evangelist Church, Topsail. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
