It is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Aubrey Corbett, 77, of Maple Hill Manor, New Waterford on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015 at the Manor.
Born in New Waterford, he was a son of the late Alonzo and Irene (MacLean) Corbett.
Aubrey was a member of the former Mount Carmel Church, currently the Parish Church of St. Leonard. He was an animal lover, especially cats and dogs. Aubrey also enjoyed fishing and listening to country/western music.
Surviving are brothers, Donnie (Bev), Michael, both of New Waterford; special sister, Patsy (Clifford) Woodland, New Waterford; sister, Marion (Edward) Lee, Ontario; close friend and cousin, Kaye Buchanan, New Waterford.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Cecil.
Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. all in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 380 Smith St., New Waterford, with Deacon Leo Penny officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the Army, Navy, Airforce, Unit 217, New Waterford.
