Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 Brian Patrick Fitzgerald (age 87) of South River formerly of Bell Island. Predeceased by his first wife Mary; parents John and Mary; siblings Muriel, Zita, Annie, Beryl, Shirley, Marjorie, Rivlyn, Lewis and Raymond. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Dorothy (Snow); step-children Carol Grieve and Bill Dwyer; in-laws Harry and Betty Snow; Louise Fournier, John Snow and Ann Snow as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Special thanks to Nicole and Gary Badcock for your support and help. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local food bank or a charity of one's choice. Resting at Slade's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass and interment from All Hallows R.C. Church, North River on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:30 am.
