At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, December 10, 2015 of Donna James (nee Garnhum), Charlottetown, age 71 years. Donna died peacefully surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren and siblings.
Donna was a strong and loving wife and mother who took great pride in her children and her grandchildren, always baking their favourite pies and treats. Donna and Harry loved Christmas and spent much of their time decorating and preparing for every Christmas. Her avid love of the Yankees and the Canadiens will be remembered by all who loved her.
Much loved wife of Harry James Sr. Dear mother of Michael (Marlene), Wade, Melissa James-MacEachern and Todd (Tracey). Mother-in-law of Kim James. Loving grandmother of Terri Stewart, Cassie Stewart (Brian MacKay), Madison and Abby James, Alex, Ben and Will MacEachern. Sister of Cheryl Dunn (John), John Garnhum (Verna), Carol Larter (Duke) and Londie Meloche (Al). Sister-in-law of Caryl James.
Predeceased by her son Harry James Jr., by her parents John and Ethel (Gallant) Garnhum and by her brother Owen Garnhum.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Monday at 9:45 a.m. then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
