LEGER, ROSALINE
1923 - 2015
Peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, on Saturday December 12, 2015 passed away Rosaline Leger, 92, wife of the late Maurice Leger. She resided at Manoir Notre-Dame and formerly on Ayer Avenue in Moncton. Born March 3, 1923 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Camille and Rosa (Richard) Leger.
She is survived by six children: Michel (Irene), Jeanne Jamer (Dick), Éric, Marcia Richard (Paul-Émile), Paul, and Marcel; 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cécile Lebans (Reg), Elizabeth Donelle (JohNny); a brother, George (Anita); a daughter-in-law, Andrée (Daniel Cormier); many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Besides her husband, Rosaline is also predeceased by a son, Emery; her brothers: Jules, Robert and Félix, and her sisters: Simonne and Gilberte.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Wednesday 10am. until time of departure 10:45am. The funeral mass will be celebrated at N-D-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, 858 Mountain, Moncton on Wednesday, December 16 at 11am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
