Peacefully at her home, on Wednesday, December, 16, 2015, with her loving family by her side, of Emilda Mary Peters, of St. Roch, age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank Peters. Born on May 14, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Emma (nee Doucette) LeClair. Dear mother to Ben (Lorraine) of Tignish; Gerard of Fort MacMurray; and daughter-in-law Joanne Peters of O' Leary; Velda (Austin) Gaudet of Alberton; Florence (Richard) Hogan of Tignish; Theresa (Bobby) Waite of St. Roch; Henry (Florrie) of Ottawa, Ont.; Ernest (Linda) of St. Roch; Dennis (Sharon) of Alberton; Timmy (Tammy) of Texas; and Derrick (Dawn) of St. Roch. She will be sadly missed by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by: her brother and sisters, Eddie (Mae) LeClair of Tignish; Theresa Martin of Tignish; and Viola MacAully of Charlottetown. She was predeceased by grandchildren, Jennifer Peters and Glenn Gaudet, and by siblings, Adrain, Wilfred, Claude, Melvin, Susan DesRoches and Margaret Stanley. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Funeral on Saturday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, celebrant.
