MATHESON, JOHN "JACK"
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John “Jack” George Matheson. Born June 3, 1937 in New Glasgow, NS, he was the son of the late Ernest and Eva Matheson of Landsdown.
Jack is survived by his two daughters, Cheryl (Henry) and Joanne (Greg); grandchildren, Mitch (Cathy), Donnie (Lisa), Logan, Chris, Jackie, Jason (Krista Lee); sister, Claire; brother, Hugh (Catherine) and sister-in-law, Lillian. He will also be missed by eight great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jack was predeceased by his siblings, Marguerite, Clarence and Irene; brother-in-law, Arnold, and his granddaughter Kelsey
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #93 (284 Restigouche Rd, Oromocto) on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:00pm. Online condolences can be made at www.oromoctofh.com
