1961 Lewis 2015
Eric Frank Lewis of Swift Current, passed away on Wednesday December 9th, 2015 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon at the age of 54.
Eric was predeceased by his parents Frank and Phyllis Lewis and his sister Gwen Fraser. Eric leaves to cherish his memory, his sister Wendy (Dwayne) Cobler of Medicine Hat, one daughter Jolene Kehoe & 2 grandchildren Nolan and Mackinley of Swift Current and close friend Sharon Larson of Swift Current, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Eric was born September 13th,1961 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. In 1974 Eric moved with his family to Swift Current. Eric was employed at the research station in Swift Current where he worked in the poultry division. He then move to Brooks for a short period of time before heading to Medicine Hat to start a career in plumbing. Swift Current was always HOME to him so he returned there and carried on with his plumbing career. He resided there till his passing.
Eric took pleasure in the outdoors including hunting, camping, gardening and fishing. He was never seen without the companionship of a dog. He loved to do woodworking and made various gunstocks that many people admired. He was also well known for preparing his own sausage and beef jerky and was very generous in sharing it with friends and family.
He will be dearly missed by all.
