Jacques Omer LeBlanc, 54, of Fall River, NS, formerly of Moncton, passed away suddenly on Wednesday December 16, 2015. Born January 16, 1961 in Moncton, he was the son of Euclide and Lorraine (Gallant) LeBlanc.
Besides his mother, Jacques is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Jocelyn née Daborn; his two children: Janique and Jacob; his brothers and sisters: Cécile (Mark Solomon), Denise (Clarence LeBlanc), Robert (Denyse), Simone Blight (Barry), and Lisette (Michel Gallant); also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Jacques was predeceased by his father, Euclide, in 2005.
Jacques was employed with IMP Aerospace since 1984. As a proud Acadian, Jacques was an elected member of the CSAP (Conseil scolaire acadien provincial) of N.S. since 2012. Other than his outdoor activities, Jacques dedicated much of his spare time supporting his children in their successful educational and curling activities.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday December 22 at 2 pm. A reception will follow at the centre. Visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon. In memory of Jacques, a contribution to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
