It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sheila Gushue announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Monday, December 21, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Brian (Gail); daughters: Sharon (John MacMillan), Rosemary, and Cathy (Gord) Halfyard; grandchildren: Holly, Rick, Alan, Justin, and Jordan; great-grandson Nathan; sisters: Maureen Greene and Rosemary Keegan; brother Kevin Healey, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander (2000); brother Gerry Healey; sister Patricia (Gerard) Gamberg and nephew Fred Gamberg. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from Country Haven Funeral Chapel with Deacon Andrew White officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Townsite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Independent Living NL.
