CARR, CLARENCE PHILLIPS
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Clarence Carr of Rusagonis, NB, announces his death at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2015. Born in Geary, NB, he was the husband of Josephine Carr.
In addition to his wife, Josie, Clarence leaves behind his children, Roxanne Merrett (Ross Griffiths), Wendy Carr (Sidney Stewart) and Christopher Carr (Tabetha); step children, Gail Gardner of AB, Kevin Carr (Donna) and Derek Carr (Cathy), both of Geary, NB; grandchildren, Sarina, Phillip, Shawn, Shantal, Bradley, Jennifer, Adam and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Whitney, Madison, William, Brooklyn, Ariana, Sara and Madysen; brother, Charles Carr (Shirley) of French Lake, NB; sisters, Alvina Simmons (George), Barbara-Ann Blake (Reg), both of ON, and Carolyn Carr of BC; sister-in-law, Annie Carr; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Clarence was predeceased by his parents, Elbridge and Mildred (Phillips) Carr; mother of his children, Louise (Nevers) Carr; brothers, Byron and Lee Carr.
Clarence was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing. Most importantly, he was a family man and he will be dearly missed.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their kindness and caring during Clarence's hospitalization. A very special thank you to Dr. Hayter who went above and beyond in his care. It meant so much to us.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Sunday, December 27th, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held from the Geary Baptist Church on Monday, December 28th at 2 pm with Rev. Mark Noel officiating. For those who wish, donations in Clarence's memory can be made to the Geary Pentecostal Church, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.
