Passed peacefully awat at the Palliative Care Unit at the Placentia Health Centre, on December 25, 2015, Reuben Mason Hodder, at the age of 62. Predeceased by his son Cory, parents William and Myrtle Hodder, his brother William Henry, and father-in-law James Deir. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife Reverend Sylvia, son Kenneth (Kimberley), daughter Kimberley (Lorne McGrath), precious grandchildren Kyle Hodder and Caitlin McGrath, brothers Harvey and Charlie, sisters Evelyn, Blanche, Olive, Ada and Christine, mother-in-law Jessie Deir, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia, with visitation on Saturday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, and Sunday from 2-9 pm. Funeral Service to take place 2 pm on Monday, December 28th at St. Martin's Anglican Church, Dunville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory of Reuben to his family.
