ROBICHAUD, ALPHONSINE (RICHARD)
1923-2015
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB- Alphonsine Robichaud, 92, of St-Louis, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent, on Saturday, December 26th, 2015. Born in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Appoline (Richard) Richard.
Before retiring, Alphonsine worked with her husband, the late Dr. Eugène Robichaud, as a receptionist and a dental assistant.
Alphonsine will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Denise Robichaud-Mazerolle (Roger) of St-Louis and Hélène Robichaud (Gérard Watts) of Stanhope, PEI; her three sons, Gabriel (Janice LeBlanc-Robichaud) of McKees Mills, Serge (Jacqueline Frigault) of MacDougall and Claude (Denise Guérette) of Campbellton; her six grandchildren, Véronique, Michel, Isabelle, René-Claude, Delano and Alexandre; her three great-grandchildren, Audrée, Mylène and Olivia; her sister Jeannette Desroches (late Adrien) of St-Louis; as well as by her several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband, Alphonsine is predeceased by her son, Jean-Marc; her grandson, Jean-Marc; three sisters; Lucie, Ernestine and Flora; and by six brothers; Albert, Auguste, Robert, Joseph, Irenée (Réné) and Vital.
The family would like to express their thankfulness for the wonderful care that was provided for Alphonsine from the Palliative Care department, as well as from all the staff at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Memorial Home, St-Louis, on Monday, January 4th, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Donations to the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital or to a charity of the donor`s choice would be appreciated by the family.
