Cody Crook

CROOK, CODY ALEXANDER
After a lengthy battle with cancer, Cody Alexander Crook, of Waasis, NB passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 29, 2015. Born on October 24, 1991 in Etobicoke, ON, he was the son of Brenda (Sinclair) Crook and Robert Crook.
Cody loved to spend time playing video games. He enjoyed watching movies - especially ones with superheroes. He loved the solar system and from a very young age could name every planet and their moons by heart. He loved cheeseburger happy meals, vanilla birthday cakes, opening presents and new skylanders. He had one very best friend Katherine who visited him regularly. Cody graduated from Oromocto High School in 2010 which he was very proud to accomplish. When he was younger, he curled in Little Rocks, played t-ball, was a member of cubscouts and enjoyed many camping trips with his family. Cody loved his pets Frizbee, Duke and Chong, and had a special relationship with his grampa’s dog Boo. He also enjoyed skyping with his nanny and poppy out in British Columbia.
In addition to his parents, Brenda and Bobby, Cody is survived by two sisters, Sarah Crook and Samantha Crook of Waasis; his grampa, Lem Sinclair of Oromocto; Nanny and Poppy Bob and Joyce Keller of Kelowna, BC; his Godmother and Aunt Beth (Barry) Crowell of Waasis, his Godfather and Uncle Dan Blake of Vancouver, BC; his aunts and uncles, Richard Sinclair, Rick Blake, Carol Walsh, Cyndie Elford and Rodney Crook; plus many great aunts, great uncles, and cousins across Canada.
Cody was predeceased by his grandmother, Norah (Bowes) Sinclair.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Lincoln, NB on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11 am with Father Mark Trzop as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Francis of Assisi Church Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, remembrances to the John Wood Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
