GAGNON, ALBAN
Alban Gagnon, 102, of MacDougall Settlement passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday December 24th, 2015 at the Villa Providence in Shediac.
Born on July 4th, 1913 in MacDougall Settlement, he was the son of the late Edouard and Élizabeth (LeBlanc) Gagnon.
Alban is survived by a daughter, Gilberte Surette (Norman) of Shediac River; his three sons: Éric (Léontine) of Moncton, Gérald (Roberte) of MacDougall Settlement, Roméo of Charlottetown PEI; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family being predeceased by his wife, Germaine née Hébert (2013); one son, Clarence (2014); three sisters: Élodie, Hermine and Yvonne; three brothers: Elphège, Philibert, Tilmon; three half-brothers: François, Émile, and Edouard.
A private funeral service will be held at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297).
