Allain, Clarence
1930-2016
RICHIBUCTO, NB - Clarence Allain, 85, of Richibucto passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Friday, January 1, 2016. Born in Bells Mills, NB he was the son of the late Charles J. Allain and late Helena (Richard) Allain. Clarence was employed as a woodsman for 40 years before his retirement. He attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in Richibucto.
Clarence will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Alice (Vautour) Allain of Richibucto; two daughters, Angeline (George Bartlett) of Moncton, Rose (Paul Barrieau) of St. Ignace; two sons, Roger (Tammy) of Kitchener, ON, Leopold of Richibucto; six grandchildren, Ghislain, Melanie, Alexandre, Savannah, Mikyla and Brandon.
He is also survived by one sister, Anne Marie of Petit Rocher, two brothers, Henri (Mildred) of Bouctouche, Raymond of Dieppe and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by siblings, Marie, Sylvia, Edouard, Armand and Cyrille.
Visitation will be held at Thompson`s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9, Tuesday from 10:30 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 12:30 pm at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in Richibucto. Donations in memory of Clarence may be made to the Extra-Mural Program or charity of the donor`s choice. Arrangements are in care of Thompson`s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
