Eva Christie, 95, of Dieppe, NB, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 3, 2016.
Born in Fox Creek, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alfred “Coudjo” and the late Christina (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Mrs. Christie had worked for many years at Mother’s Own and was a member of Saint-Anselme Parish.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard; one daughter, Paulette Christie of Bouctouche; one son, Daniel (Gisele) Christie of Dieppe; two brothers: Rene (Loretta) LeBlanc of Moncton and Joe (Aldea) LeBlanc of Fort Fairfield, ME; five grandchildren: Christine (Daniel Jean), Mathieu (Robin), Natalie, Sébastien and Sophie; four great-grandchildren: Bradley, Ella, Eli and Myriam; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two young sisters and also by four brothers: Jacques, Paul, Armand and Bernard.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm ONLY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Wednesday, January 6th, 2016 at 11 am.
Interment in Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
