The passing of Doris E. (Brown) Dickinson of Lower Brighton occurred on Friday January 1, 2016 at her home. She was born September 4, 1927 in Lower Brighton to Earl and Wealthy Brown. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Roland, her siblings Willis and Gilbert Brown and Tressa Crealock. Also predeceased by a son-in-law, Lorne Boone and twin great grand babies.
She is survived by her children Peggy Palmer (Gary), Barb Clark (Dave), Debbie Melanson (Donald), and Lorrie Boone as well as six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Geraldine White of Greenfield NB. She also leaves behind her faithful canine companion, Laddie.
The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to her care-giver, Dalta MacDonald.
Visitation will be held at Carleton Funeral Home on Tuesday January 5, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 PM at the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment at the Lower Brighton Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Lower Brighton Wesleyan Church.
