ISRAEL, Dorothy Pauline, 88, Lockeport, passed away suddenly in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Friday, January 1, 2016 with her family by her side. Born in Lockeport she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Lila (Sabean) Burke. Pauline, as she was known by family and friends, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked at National Sea Products for many years and in her earlier years she worked at Moirs Chocolate Factory. She was a faithful Blue Jays fan. She is survived by daughter, Susan (David); brother, Jack (Beverley) Burke; granddaughter, Christina (Cory); great grandchildren, Matthew, Jordan and Brandi; great-great grandchildren, Aaron and Bryce. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry, brother, Frank and sisters, Helen and Mary. Funeral service was held on Monday, January 4 in the Lockeport Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Grant officiating. Burial in Osborne Cemetery.
