GEORGINA SARAH BARNES
January 29, 1953 – December 28, 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late GEORGINA BARNES of Marystown announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Monday, December 28, 2015, at the age of 62. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband, Roy Barnes of 40 years; son, Cory (Leighann) of Fort McMurray; daughters, Ronnie Barnes (Wally Walsh) of Marystown, Seralda (Timmy Dicks) of Marystown & Corinna (Doug Warren) of Marystown; sisters, Susan (John) Porter of Bay Roberts & Irene Porter (Albert Hiscock) of Bay Roberts; brothers, Frank Coady (Philomena Murphy) of Burin & Douglas Coady of St. John’s; 10 grandchildren, Coady, Spencer, Chloe, Corilee, Teah, Bailey, Jessie, Mya, Bella & Becca; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents, Ronald & Sarah Coady; brothers, Ronald & Tom Coady; sister, Ann Marie Wall; parents-in-law, George & Effie Barnes.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Thursday, December 31, at 10:30 a.m. Cremation followed. In Georgina's memory donations may be made to The Barnes Family or flowers gratefully accepted.
