GALLANT, ALINE
1929-2016
SAINT-CHARLES, NB – Aline Gallant, 86, of Saint-Charles passed away
peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Tuesday,
January 5, 2016. Born in Saint-Antoine, NB she was the daughter of the
late Sylvain and late Margaret Richard. She attended St. Charles
Borromée Roman Catholic Church.
Aline will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Jeannette Gallant of
Saint John, Julieanne Hebert (Joseph) of Saint-Charles, Margaret
McLaughlan (Randy) of Rothesay; two sons, Sylvain Gallant (late Anne-
Marie) of Saint John, Leo Paul Gallant of Saint-Charles; eight
grandchildren, Trevor, Jackie, Jessica, Angie, Jillian, Andrew, Joey, Katie
and nine great grandchildren, Kayla, Shawna, Kiesha, Ashton, Ciera,
Preston, Bella, Carter, Nikita and Clayton.
She is also survived by one sister, Anita LeBlanc (Desire) of Shediac;
daugher-in-law, Linda Gallant of Sussex; brother-in-law, Willie Bourque of Massachusetts, several nieces, nephews and special friend, Cathy Roach.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hubert Gallant; one son, Bernard
“Bernie” Gallant and two sisters, Julieann and Evelyn.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on
Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9, Friday at 9:00 am until time of the funeral. A
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11:00 am,
Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto. Donations in Aline’s
memory may be made to the NB Diabetes Association or charity of the
donor’s choice. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto (523-4252).
