William Campbell Robinson
July 26, 1922 – January 5, 2016

William (Bill) Campbell Robinson, age 93, beloved husband of Therese and brother of Jean Webster, passed away at the Veterans Village, Sherbrooke Community Centre on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Left to mourn with saddened hearts are his wife of 41 years, Therese Robinson and sister Jean (Jim) Webster of Saskatoon, niece Brenda (Tim) Comfort and family of Saskatoon, nephew Stuart (Carey) Webster and family of Portland Oregon, nephew Craig (Brenda) Webster and family, Ottawa Ontario, stepson Gerald (Linda) Larose and family, Prince Albert, stepdaughter Louise (Leo) Gignac and family, Albertville, step grandson Claude Larose, Saskatoon, sisters-in-law – Sister Pauline and Carmel Sevigny and brother-in- law Henry (Therese) Sevigny. Bill was predeceased by his mother Agnes in 1965 and his father Alexander in 1992, nephew baby Warren Webster in 1953, stepson Cederic Larose in 2014 and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Bill took public and high school in Saskatoon. He joined the Air Force during WWII and served overseas until the end of the war. He was an airplane mechanic during the war and was an expert with machinery the rest of his life. He worked on heavy equipment in Alberta until moving to the farm at Debden Saskatchewan. Bill and Therese enjoyed travelling in their trailer and spent many happy winters in Yuma Arizona before retiring in Debden and subsequently in Prince Albert. As a result of his failing health, Bill moved to Vet Village at the Sherbrooke Community Centre in 2014. The family wishes to express sincere appreciation for the loving care which Bill enjoyed while being cared for by an excellent team of caregivers at Veterans Village. The Liturgy of The Word will be celebrated at St. Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Debden, SK on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Tuan Doan officiating. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Sherbrooke Community Centre and will be announce at a later date.
