NYBORG, IVAN
At the Grand Falls General Hospital, January 9, 2016, Mr. Ivan Nyborg of New Denmark passed away at the age of 84 years. He was the husband of Mary (Hill) Nyborg whom he married in 1957. Born at New Denmark in 1931, he was a son of the late Cresten and Lillian Kirstine (Laursen) Nyborg.
He is survived by his wife, three children, Lynn Hambrook (Bradley) of New Denmark, Paula Hendrickson (Dan) of Dallum, Alberta and Jonathan Nyborg (Denise) of Ortonville, eight grandchildren, Leah Wilkie (Kevan), Benjamin Hendrickson (Berglind), Megan Glover (Aaron), Jacob and Samuel Hambrook, Wesley (Megan), Lauren and Caleb Nyborg, six great-grandchildren, Peta, Emily and Marcus Wilkie, Siena and Gyda Hendrickson and Oliver Nyborg, one brother, Boyd Nyborg (Joan) of New Denmark, one sister, Helen McGann (Gerald) of Green Ridge, Maine, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a foster sister, Beatrice Wilcock (late Grant).
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours at the funeral home on Monday, January 11th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. He will also be resting at Bethany Lutheran Church of New Denmark on Tuesday, January 12th from 1 to 2 p.m. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 12th at 2 p.m. from Bethany Lutheran Church, New Denmark with Pastor Ralph Weigold and Pastor Daniel Hendrickson officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
