Marlene Dewar
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital the passing of Marlene M. Dewar, (nee Creed) age 62, devoted wife of 41 years to Douglas Dewar, occurred on Saturday, January 9, 2016.
Born in Montague on February 3, 1953, she was the daughter of the late James V. and Mary A. (Peck) Creed.
Marlene is survived by her loving children Christopher (Melodie), Nicholas (Sao), Andrew ( partner Amy Sheppard ), Timothy ( partner Michelle Bauer), Ellen (Kyle) Howlett; cherished grandmother to Gwenyth, Isabel, Logan, Rowan, Malcolm and Victoria; brothers and sisters, Sharon (David) Murdock, Gary (Tena) Creed, Charles (Cindy) Creed and Nancy (Gary) Matheson; several cousins, numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Monday January 11, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, January 12, at 11 a.m. from St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Sturgeon. Interment to take place in the Lower Montague Cemetery.
