Lila Mae Hatley, aged 85 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away suddenly after a very brief illness on Sunday, January 10th, 2016. Lila was born in Dilke, SK and lived in Creighton, SK for over 40 years prior to returning to Moose Jaw in 2007. She was a member of the Rebekah’s for over 50 years. Lila was a homemaker, foster parent and worked with Home Care. She was predeceased by her husband, Jim (2005); daughter, Wanda (1989) and 3 sons-in-law. Lila is survived by her son, Walter (Michele); daughters: Sandra, Louise (Ron), Mavis (David), Pat, Marlene (Julian) and Donna (Deryl); 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 only great-grandson; brothers, Bill and Rick; sisters, Jean and Marion; as well as several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 16th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Seth Freeman will officiate and a private family interment will take place in Sunset Cemetery. A Time of Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, January 14th, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Flowers are gratefully declined.
