It is with great sadness that the family of Greta June Raike Fisher announces her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Monday, January 11th, 2016 at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with loving memories her son Lionel (Elizabeth) of McIvers daughter Sherri (David) Mayo of Winterton, step-children Sandra (Gary) Tompkins, of Regina, Carol Fisher of Brandon, Manitoba, Cynthia (Larry) Kynock of Kentville, N.S., Robert (Lek) Fisher of Kingston, Ontario and Deborah MacDonald (Jim Hilyz) of New Ross, N.S. Her grandson Tyler Raike, 11 other grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Her siblings Maxine (Jack) Vivian of Deer Lake, Marina Gummer of North Dakota and Bob Raike, sister-in-law Robina Raike of Deer Lake. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Warren Eugene Fisher, son David Crocker, parents Enos & Greta Raike, brothers Cecil Raike and Leonard Raike. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel on Wednesday, January 13th, 2016 from 2-4, where also funeral service will take place on Thursday at 3:30pm. Cremation to follow.
