Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, January 8, 2016, Gertrude M. Flight Perry of Broad Cove, age 72 years. Predeceased by parents: Richard and Violet Flight. Left to mourn, one son: Paul Flight, Broad Cove; granddaughter: Ashley Perry; two brothers: Eric Flight, Ontario and Earl (Shirley) Flight, Buchans; one sister: Yvonne (Eric) LeGrow, Salmon Cove; aunt: Sophie Flight, St. John’s; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rev. Roscoe Cole conducted the Funeral Service on Sunday, January 10 at Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Inurnment was in the United Church Cemetery, Broad Cove.
