The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, January 17, 2016, of Audrey Irene Dawson of Linkletter aged 74, wife of the late Carman Dawson. Born in Summerside on May 12, 1941, daughter of the late Harvey and Susie (Brooks) Wood. Dear mother to David (Rena), Linkletter, and Wayne (Pam), Oromocto, NB. Loving grandmother to Meghan and Tyler; step-grandmother to Natalie and Cory Arsenault and three step-great-grandchildren. Audrey is also survived by sisters Arlene Kaulback, Truro, NS, and Alvena Wood, Charlottetown; sisters and brothers-in-law Kenneth (Judy) Dawson, Toronto; Stephen (Sarah) Dawson, Halifax, NS; Mae Dawson (John MacLeod), Wellington; June Boyles (Dave Stewart), Tyne Valley; and Bobby Macleod, Poplar Grove. Predeceased by her parents, husband, brothers-in-law Allan Kaulback, Bob Dawson and Milford Dawson. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours on Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Summerside Church of the Nazarene. Interment will follow at a later date in People's Cemetery, Summerside.
