McCallum, Ivan C. – Onslow Mountain

McCallum, Ivan Charles – Age 65, Onslow Mountain, received his wings on January 22, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Charles and Pansy (Ettinger) McCallum.
Ivan was an avid outdoorsman who was happiest camping, four-wheeling, and some of his best memories were made on an old dirt road with a drink in his hand. Family meant everything to him, and he was proud to be a father and grandfather, and was very appreciative of the support provided by his wife.
Ivan’s memories will be cherished by his wife, Frances; son, Jason; daughter, Charlene “Sweetems” (Mike) Alchorn; grandson, Brendon; sisters, Vangie (Bob), Bowie, Geri, Violet (Bob), Diane (Richard), Bonnie, Pinkie (Bob), brother, Butch; sister-in-law, Starlene (Al); his four-legged companion, Buddy.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 7-9 p.m., in Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro.
Memorial donations may be made to Colchester East Hants Hospice Society.
