Cherished father of Leonce (Cathy), Grand Bay, N.B.; Mona (Gordon) Jeffery, Tignish; Louis (Rose), Mont Carmel; Esther (David) Collicutt, Grand Barachois, N.B.; and Odette (Dennis) Gallant, Mont Carmel. Loving grandfather to Trevor, Cherie, Kristy, Luc, Joel, Jessica, Chad, Jordan and Jillian and eight great-grandchildren. Brother to: Flora (late Eugene) Gallant, Chez-Nous; Freddie (Albina), Summerside; Benny (Lila), Summerside; Angele (Melvin) Richard, Summerside; Clara (Paul) Bernard, Summerside; Annie (Franky) Arsenault, Wellington. Survived by sisters-in-law: Irène, Thérèse, Alphonsine (Oliver), Victoria (Maynard) Ramsay, Norma Poirier and Mae (Tilmon) and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by brothers Gerard (Della), Tilmon, Lionel, brothers and sister-in-law, Martin Richard, Regis Arsenault, Bernice Arsenault, and Amand Poirier. Resting at the Evangeline Coop Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Wednesday, Jan. 27, then to Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church for funeral mass at 3:30 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours Tuesday, Jan. 26, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Memorial donations to Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Camel Church Fund would be greatly appreciated.
