COMIER, LÉONA
Léona “Nana” Cormier, 85, of the Villa Providence formerly of Memramcook passed away on January 27th, 2016. Born on March 11th, 1930 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Mathilda (Richard) LeBlanc.
She will be sadly missed by her four children: Exelda Cormier of Winnipeg, MAN, Sandra Hassan (Ali) and Diane Cormier both of Shediac and Brenda Wright (Ron) of Memramcook; two sisters: Jeanne McQueen (Don) of ONT and Dorothy Francoeur of Shediac; five grandchildren: Joanne, Janice, Karen, Nadine and Gilles; five great-grandchildren: Brittney, Riley, Donald, Jolie and Albert; one great-great-grandson, Mason; by a special friend, Bill Grimmer, many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Hervé Fougère; second husband, Aurèle Cormier; one son, Donald; brothers and sisters: Edna, Rita Lorainne, Albert, Laura and infants: Camille and Mona.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, January 28th, 2016 from 7 to 9pm, Friday from 1pm until time of funeral service. The funeral service will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre Friday, January 29th at 2pm.
In memory of Léona, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
