Suddenly at Alberton, on Thursday, January 28, 2016, of Joseph Scott Gallant, of Alberton, age 52 years. Born at Alberton on June 6, 1963, he was the son of Clair and Sheila (nee Perry) Gallant. Loving father to Ethan Getson of Alberton. Dear brother to Joey (Terri), of Red Deer, Alberta; Peggy (Allan) Adams, of Elmsdale; Bruce (Claudia), of Alberton; Debbie Campbell, of Alberton; Blair, of Red Deer, Alberta; and Heather (Larry) Profit of Alberton. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and by special friends, Larry O’Brien and Jeremy Hackett. He was predeceased by brother, Darryl Gallant, brother-in-law, Don Campbell, and by grandparents Toff and Margaret Gallant and Alfred and Margaret Perry. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday morning from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorials to a family fund would be gratefully appreciated.
