It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Roberta "Bobbie" Sheryl Haynes, age 72, of Lorneville, NS. Bobby passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Irene (Goodwin) Osbourne.
Bobbie loved everything to do with sports and never missed a Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game. She enjoyed watching car races live at the track. She worked for many years at the Irving Big Stop in Aulac.
She will be dearly missed by her husband Piercy, Lorneville; children Corrine (Rick) Snowdon, Sackville, NB, Larry Chapman, Sutton, ON, Wayne, Amherst, and Elaine (Paul) Bird, Amherst; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister Margie Jensen, Dartmouth, NS.
She was predeceased by her sister Carol MacKenzie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). In keeping with Bobbies wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish, NS at a later date.
