YOUNG, David Halsey, 87, of Sable River, Shelburne Co., passed away peacefully in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, on Saturday, January 23, 2016. Born on October 14, 1928 he was a son of the late Walter and Lola (Robinson) Young. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen “Kay” (Daly), Bridgewater; daughters, Karen (Richard) Cooney, Syracuse, NY; Martha (Alan) Roblee, Columbia, SC; Pamela Young (Steven Cotts), Greenfield Center, NY; Wendy Young (Juan Osuna), Falls Church, VA; sister, Doris O’Brien, New Rochelle, NY; grandchildren, Jenifer Cooney, Pittsburgh, PA; Halsey Cooney, Arlington, VA; Jamie Cooney, Tampa, FL; niece, Lisa Clark, nephews, James Young, Geoffrey Young, Jay Bradbury. He was predeceased by daughter, Patricia Young; sister, Barbara Hulse; brother, J. Addison Young. By personal request, there will be no public visitation or service.
