It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of our dear mother, Sylvia Stockley, at home on Tuesday, February 2, 2016.
Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Piercy
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a loving and giving mother, who enjoyed darts, Bingo, knitting and spending time with her family.
Sylvia is survived by her children, Donna (David) Harnum, Wayne (Deborah), Willard (Ada), Michael, Eric (Mary), Robert (Angie) all of Sydney, her grandchildren, James, Martina, Brittany, Amanda, Jordyn, Jessica, Devon, Reenie, Eric, and Glenda, great grandchildren, Hunter, Brittany, Madison, and Dallas, her great great grandson, Emerson.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Willard Stockley, a daughter in infancy, her siblings.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service by request.
