JOSEPH KACEVYCHIUS, “JOE CASH”
We the family of the late Joseph Kacevychius 'Joe Cash' wish to express our sincere thanks for the love, support and many acts of kindness shown to us during his illness and passing. Thank you to those who called, emailed, and took the time to express their sympathy on-line. To those who visited our home, sent mass cards, brought food, sent flowers and made monetary gifts and memorial donations in Joe’s name, you provided us much comfort at a most difficult time.
Many thanks to the St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Bereavement team, the parish choir, altar servers and especially to Father Bill Burke. Fr. Burke’s homily was a dignified tribute that captured Joe’s
spirit of giving to his family and community.
To the readers, Ray Doucette and Debbie Gallivan, to Debbie McNeil and Loretta Grant who participated in the offertory procession and to the pallbearers, Clarence Chiasson, Jay Ball, John MacInnis and Jamie MacIntyre, Joe would have been so pleased with your participation. He loved you all.
We would also like to thank the Fourth Degree members of the Knights of Columbus who had prayers at the funeral home and provided an honour guard ceremony at the funeral. Many thanks to T.W. Curry Funeral Home for your professionalism, compassion and support during this difficult time. To the outstanding medical team at the Cape Breton Cancer Centre, Palliative Care and VON, we cannot thank you enough for the care and support you provided to Joe and his family and fulfilling Joe's wish to be at home and receive the best quality of life care.
To all who helped comforted us in many ways, we are truly grateful.
